Black men are moving away from the Democrats and into the arms of Donald Trump because the party “emasculates” them, according to former party senator Nina Turner.

The Democrats’ elevation of black women as “mothers of the movement” is problematic and alienates certain groups — namely, black men — Turner, who served as an Ohio senator for six years until 2014, told The Free Press. The party also fails to use identity to advance a “social justice cause”.
Trump, by contrast, embodies a certain “bravado”, a “masculine energy” which is “still very much rooted in a hierarchical patriarchy”. Black men have indeed shifted to the Right, with younger black voters expressing much warmer feelings toward the former president than their older counterparts. At least Harris has the young female vote sewn up…
