I have tried to comment on this one on youtube. The vast majority of the comments are in favor of restricting the speech rights of those legally here.
It is very strange because, my comments are getting shadowbanned. I have done some experiments. It appears that any comment I make by way of reply, gets dropped.
It appears that if I make an “top level” comment, it remains as long as it is innocuous. If I actually make a reasoned comment or response, it is removed by the time I refresh the page. As an example, someone made the comment Non-citizens in this country are guests who we’ve given the privilege of being here, and it doesn’t matter if they’re on a visa or a green card- WE get to decide what guests we allow to stay in this country, and that privilege can be revoked at any time for any freaking reason we want. Only citizens have a right to remain in this country.
To which I replied: “for any freaking reason we want”. To quote The Lone Rangers companion, “What mean we white man”. (A joke from the 60s). Who is the “we” that decides what our reasons are? There are probably plenty of people that the “Woke crowd” would take out if they had the power. So a green card holder who says there are only two genders gets deported. That would be fine with you?
This was immediately removed. As a test, I wrote “top level” that some of my comments were being deleted. It remained. I then wrote my above response at top level. It was deep sixed in the time it took to refresh the page.
I suspect that some extremely sophisticated AI is being used to silence those who know how to present unfavored points of view in an appealling maner.
