A comprehensive dissection of the incompetence and incoherence of the current and previous governments. Quite disturbing to listen to. I was caught by Tom’s observation that on the one hand this and previous governments have committed the car manufacturers to producing electric cars, while offering very little infrastructure and no incentives for customers to install charging points. And what possessed the previous government to admit nearly a million immigrants in a year? If it was to stimulate business it was spectacularly short-sighted. These podcasts are gems. Well worth listening to. Thank you Tom, Helen and UnHerd.

Listening to an interesting discussion on the Chagos Islands issue. Notably absent is any acknowledgement of the views of the people who actually live there.
