Suicide pod’s Patient X found dead  

The Sarco assisted suicide pod was scheduled for its first use, but the planned Patient X was found dead from suicide today.

The woman’s planned suicide had been postponed indefinitely over her suspected mental problems after she went missing in Switzerland weeks earlier and incorrectly told her own lawyer she’d already undergone suicide-by-Sarco. Swiss authorities, aware of those issues, launched a manhunt for the woman this week, and the company behind the Sarco pod expressed concerns that she would attempt suicide through another company that was unaware of her mental history. It’s not a good look for the Sarco brand.
