Very interesting. A German move to the right right now would certainly reverberate around the European Union. Might even be felt by Ursula von der Leyen.

Sadly, it is the only way to balance out the abuse from refugees who game the system. Also migrants who refuse to assimilate also need to go. For way too long, refugees and migrants have abused the kindness of the West.

The real problems with Germany can all be laid at the feet of Merkel.

The Germans believed Mr Biden’s argument, that it would help Ukraine if Germany refused to use cheap Russian gas. But Mr Biden is a fool.

The solution is obvious: ban the AfD and re-establish the Uniparty monopoly on democracy.
Sounds crazy? The co-leader of the SPD (the government of Germany) supports it and said so in an interview with Die Zeit.

I think most of the political leaders in Germany have kicked the tires on this, but I would be shocked if it happened – for obvious reasons.

Well, that is what proportional representation does for you.

Scholz is highly unusual among state leaders in having, or not covering up, a bald head. Will the populace ever trust a man with a bald head? Of course he is hampered, as regards trust, with the problem of mass migration that is affecting all developed Western-style democracies. Much more so than Merkel who hat das in 2015 deschaft, but it has become much denser and more difficult to talk away now. He may have been less unpopular with a full head of hair, though that wouldn’t magic the xenophobia problem away. He seems to have nothing to say on the subject. How will the poor chap survive with those two issues to his disadvantage?
