The idea of a Monument Park is excellent – I obviously missed it when I was in Budapest a few years ago. We could locate ours in the grounds attached to the home of some or other rich socialist.

You have to take a bus. The stop is just before the sculpture park, and if you miss it (as we did!) walk back from the next one.

Wether the statue of Colston should be taken down should be decided by the majority of the people of Bristol and not a minority of left wing activists, it’s vandalism pure and simple and the police should have stopped it. Because what they are saying is vandalism is acceptable no matter what the reasons are and that sets a very dangerous precedent
