Why doesn’t this odious little man realize that he hit pay dirt with a lucky idea and just shut up.

“I’m not sure I’d want my planet turned into a visitor experience — or to live in a giant tin can. Earth is our species’ home and it is where we belong. Unlike Bezos, I can’t speak with any confidence on behalf of future generations, but I suspect that most of our descendants would feel the same way. Why wouldn’t you want the common grace of natural sunlight, air and gravity, instead of artificial substitutes?”

What if we leave it to people to choose?

….and what if earth is populated by both rich and poor? Stratification of wealth groups isn’t usually as extreme as people think it is.

If we leave it to people to chose, history is not on our side. If we leave it to people to chose, which “people” do you posture will get the privilege to chose?

Errr, what about cosmic radiation which would pass straight through the tin can and cobble folks’ DNA? Earth has a nice design to protect us: a deflecting electromagnetic shield.

A complicated, wonkish response to the problem almost everyone uncomfortably ignores: overpopulation.
Control human population and our planet can comfortably support several billion people. Yes, I know, easier said than done.
Maybe the sperm-killing PCBs are a blessing in disguise.
