Zaluzhnyi is to become Ambassador to the UK and Zelensky will appoint who he is told to…

“ Zaluzhnyi has strong personal ties with his Western and Nato counterparts” may be true, but such ties are a waste of time as the West backs away from the war. The West would rather renege on its security guarantees (post Ukrainian denuclearisation) than face the inevitable bloodbath that will occur despite all our best efforts to appease the global bullies.

What ‘inevitable bloodbath’ are you talking about? Russia is not going to invade Europe any more than China is going to invade Taiwan. Are a half-million dead Ukrainians not enough?

Fixed it for you:
“while Kyiv’s government volatility will likely be seized upon by sceptical US Republicans eager for excuses not to fund Ukraine. will serve as a clear demonstration of why further funding for Ukraine may not be the best use of scarce US taxpayer money. “

If there is to be a leadership reset, then it should start at the top. Who thought a comedian was the answer? This grift has gone on long enough.

The piece fails on the basis of the assumption that Zelenskyy is an actual leader in his own right, and not – as he is – the hang-out and mouthpiece of a coterie of puppet masters.
The interesting piece of information – not reflected in this article – is that Ukraine’s appointed handler Victoria Nuland rushed to Kiev to sort it all out, and apparently failed.
