Or to put it another way, is the cure worst than the disease?
In my opinion, if we add gong green to the cure then it certainly would be.

Sadly, the signs are that Sunak not only does not know what net-zero means, but does not understand its dire threat to our long-term prosperity. That really will have a hysteretic effect on the UK and the rest of the Western world.

This will destroy us all. On the other hand, if the govt wants to pay me to go out into the open air and plant trees than I’m happy to do so. The absurdity being, of course, that at the same time they will be importing people to pick fruit, Truly, there is no end to the insanity.
