I’m far from a Piers Morgan fan, but I do sympathise with him on the Meghan topic. The walkout was a bit pathetic, but the bigger story is the way he seems to have been leant on by the ITV CEO and no doubt others when he said he didn’t believe a word she said. I don’t know to what extent she was telling the truth – or what an impartial observer might recognise as a balanced and full account. But it’s positively ridiculous for Morgan to be attacked for saying he does not believe her at all and others to be given free reign to say they believe her 100%, when they have no more idea of her veracity than I do or Piers Morgan does.
For example, Newsnight managed to embarrass itself again last night by bringing on two black female academics who trotted out the usual banalities, neither expressing any doubt about any aspect of the Sussexes’ story. I was going to ask rhetorically if they show the same lack of curiosity and scepticism when interrogating academic sources, but then I guess that they do not question anything that challenges their own prejudices. The blessed Emily certainly wasn’t going to ask them if they are always so credulous.
Meghan seems a bright lass and has certainly worked out that playing the race and mental illness cards makes her invulnerable to criticism, at least from much of the media and establishment. Whether most of the British public will be taken in, though, I rather doubt.

“The difference between me and a wokie is that I don’t think my view is the only one that can be heard”
Given his propensity for talking over people, this simply isn’t true.

Grade A journalistic evil that has more than once used his position to cause harm and has done so knowingly. Sooner he disappears the better.

I saw this exchange this morning and at first thought it was like the usual set up, obviously not . I am not a big fan of Piers as he has changed over the last year or two and I did think him walking off was a bit pathetic, but I have to say if it had been Charlie off bbc breakfast or even Jeremy Paxman I don’t think itv would have reacted at all. We all know why this is happening and there is more to come no doubt. As for Meghan Markle what a blinder she is playing , and I don’t think this is the end of it by a long chalk. Of the 36+ hours this has aired how much coverage has been the mental health issue or the security issue……..not a lot…..what has it been about……the usual race issue, she, actually they, knew exactly what they were doing. How many black people are happy to support someone who is actually exploiting them I wonder. But then I guess their PR machine has been so good at this , the ethnic groups will kid themselves she’s doing it for her ‘sisters’!

Haven’t seen the walking-off video, but THIS Piers Morgan show from yesterday featuring a shrieking ogre still provides endless fits of laughter:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsObE9_XVr0&t=263s (watch the first five minutes)
I had to google the woman(?), and – bear with me -, she has a string of titles: PhD, MBA, LLM, MA, LLB, IAQ, on top of the “dr”!! Who said comedy is dead…

I thought Piers Morgan – and more particularly Johnson Beharry – dealt with that harpie very adroitly

I saw some of this on Alex Belfield Voice of Reason. I assume the opposing opinion was coming from the American girl who was supporting Meghan Markle, an even bigger race grifter than Munchetty. That particular American girl may well be the one person in the western world more objectionable than ‘Morbidly obese Morgan’, to use Alex Belfield’s entertaining words.

I can not bring myself to read anything about that horrible couple, but one thing this all displays across the world (after a quick look through Daily Mail, which covers very little but the Markles) is that the risk of every thing being about race is 99% if you get in this position. Race is THE 2020s issue. Covid was pretty big, but we all know race is it. What a preposterous age this is. And all are silenced on saying anything unless it is parroting the correct take. The modern agenda is talking how the Emperor is wearing the world’s finstr robes, and over them a full set of armor, and over that a space suit. Don’t you see it? The entire American TV Talk industry is showing us their views on the amazing costume, and laying into anyone who does not see it, and anyone saying the Emperor is naked will be destroyed – so Shut up and admire the outfit. Or else!

No, Piers Morgan walked off when the GMTV weatherman defended the Sussexes. I saw completely out of context, maybe weatherman was last straw…

The yanks are welcome to them both. I really hope that our great Queen will now strip them of any title they presently hold, plus resend the bill for what these clowns owe to the tax payers of the UK. Their decision to leave UK,. Good riddance and rescind their passports too. Treason .” Orf with their heads.”

He is obsessed with Meghan. Someone somewhere counted the countless tweets he has fired off in the past week about her – and it was astonishing. He needs to stop with his slamming and bullying generally if he wants to be a real hard hitter.

Morgoth made this video about a week ago, but it gives a good summary of the creature we are really dealing with.

Piers Morgan and Bill Maher are two peas in a pod. ( One English pea, and one American! ) They are now ( sincerely? ) trying to distance themselves from the cancel culture of hate that they and their crowd spawned. I’m all for foxhole and deathbed conversions, but I think perhaps a little repentance and penance may be in order to restore the intellectual credibility of these two renegades.
