So true! There was an excellent report on the BBC, or maybe it was a podcast, that debunked this myth. Essentially, it’s a contagious form of mass hysteria. Wish I could remember where this came from, but when I listened, the penny dropped. There was something exceedingly similar to this in Moscow in the 80s, I think.
I read about Havana syndrome in the press and I must say the first thing I thought of was the cat detector van from the Monty Python script ‘Fish License’.
