Sa’ar is most likely trying to position himself (and his party) as a right wing non-religious alternative for the next election, whenever it will be. He has no reason to try to get back into Likud.

It may well be that Bibi is on his way out, but the events of the last 6 months have, if anything, given him a reprieve. There are deep Constitutional problems, and that is the focus, if not the source, of the animus. Polls say 85% of Israelis support his conduct of the war.

This is so wrong. Sa’ar is a busted flush and going into oblivion. He and his party. He and his party left “New Hope” and are running under the election threshold to enter the Israeli Parliament. Most Israelis, even those who don’t like Netenyahu think it is wrong to leave goverment during a war
