“Other companies will have taken note, too. Wokeness will continue as a marketing strategy, but expect it to be targeted with greater care.”
I would have thought that would have been the case after P&G took an $8 billion writedown on Gillette after their failed “The Best Man Can Be” razor campaign four years ago but apparently not. There is something more sinister than profits and share price at play here. Corporations have become completely detached from the exercise of making money.

As government intervention in key segments of the economy (such as energy, food and transport) to support Net Zero increases, and government spending as a share of GDP rises to unprecedented levels, then staying onside with government priorities becomes a safer guarantee of corporate profitability than responding to customer demand.

Budweiser is dreadful beer anyway. I’m not shedding any tears at its demise.

To call it beer is an insult quite frankly

I don’t drink Bud Light anyway, because I am not a woman.
It is marketed to women.

Any evidence that Budweiser paid off Don Jr, directly or indirectly?

The best thing to do with Bud Light and for that matter Bud Almost as Light but not Quite, is cut out the middleman and pour it straight down the khasi.
