Meanwhile the January 6 committee theater continues to try to distract attention from the current administration’s policy failures.
We can only hope people are paying attention to inflation, woke policies in schools, the huge influx of illegal immigrants, violence in democrat controlled cities, etc, and vote accordingly in the midterms. I doubt, however, even a bad midterm result will deter Biden and his closest associates.

Why would it? The Administration is achieving a demographic transformation which will rapidly make traditional two party US politics redundant, to be replaced by Central American politics.

The assumption that mostly socially conservative traditionally-minded people from ‘backward’ ‘reactionary’ third world countries are all going to vote Democrat is pretty outdated. Biden’s making a mistake in assuming that all ‘people of colour’ are the same. It’s mostly only black Americans that are slavish in their voting patterns.

There have been recent off cycle elections that seem to show a shift in Hispanic voting patterns towards the GOP. Most recently was the winner of a south Texas congressional seat, Maya Flores, who is a Mexican born naturalized citizen. She and her family entered the country the legal way. I personally know of some Latin Americans who have entered the country legally who are furious with the Biden administration’s border policies. So maybe there is a shifting pattern after all.

Even a very small shift in voting patterns would create a massive change in the results, when every election seems to be won by around a 2% margin. But these illegal immigrants are not supposed to have voting rights until they are citizens, so it’s puzzling.

Some cities have been allowing illegals to vote on local races and issues so you understand the ultimate goal.

The migrants are voting with their feet because of those politics. Once freed of the indignity of welfare, many are more likely to adopt new cultural values. Their politics may not fit assumptions.

Is there not a possible treason charge in this?

I think you’re right: the president is uninterested in curbing illegal immigration.

This, of course, is grounds for impeachment as clearly as can be articulated.

There is some nefarious underlying everything that is happening in the west. I hope we discover or someone becomes a whistleblower before it’s too late.

The open immigration policy fits the Cloward–Pivenstrategy. Surprised that the old theory isn’t talked about much. But we are not as rich as we were in 1966. We have already arrived at a huge debt/GDP ratio that now we must inflate our way out. That huge effective tax on all of us may collapse the welfare state but not the way Cloward–Pivenwould wish.
