A shocking and revealing article.
I remember the family who were refused life saving treatment by the Devon & Cornwall NHS, I think, to save their child based on new technology and the family secretly fled the UK to Poland where their child was successfully treated, as many other there had also been.
I would also add the previous articles on Unherd that demonstrated the bias on individual Judges in their judgements, which may also apply to Doctors and leads to very different outcomes .
One has to always remember, under ‘Common Law’ it is the Judges who make Law.
We all seem to believe it is someone elected, or person working under authority of an elected person, who makes law, and much is, but then the Judges get it, and decide what it really means to the people effected by it. What the actual law is, and so precedent makes it so.
That a great many Judges are just loons who have risen to their positions of power though political partonage, is a big problem.
