Most Brits want Kamala Harris to win the upcoming election, including a majority of UK Tory voters, per a YouGov poll carried out shortly before last night’s debate. Some 55% of Conservatives prefer the Democratic candidate, compared to more than 80% of both Liberal Democrats and Labour supporters. Meanwhile, Reform UK voters preferred Trump by 57% to 25%.
The Tories’ substantial 65+ voting bloc has its counterpart in the US — ageing former Republicans with a distaste for Trump, most recently including Dick Cheney. Who says the Right is united?
