A damning report published today claims the German military is “not fully operational” and needs a “mammoth investment” as it has 20,000 unfilled roles. As befits a 21st-century fighting force, the army continues to use technology such as fax machines and radios made in the 1980s, whilst medical records are sometimes kept on paper, raising concerns around their capacity to be delivered urgently in a frontline scenario. Eva Högl, the German army commissioner and author of the report, said the military had “too little of everything” but that progress was still being made toward securing new equipment.
Days after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Chancellor Olaf Scholz committed €100 billion to modernise the Bundeswehr, calling it a “turning point”. Högl did suggest that progress had been made in recent months and money was finally starting to filter through, but that it was not yet enough and further investment was still needed. The report also stated that some barracks had no access to wifi. They’re missing out on a hell of a news bulletin…

SubscribePre computer technology has its advantages. It is not hackable and is not destroyed by EMP. In addition, dare we trust any chip made in China. I would suspect that all of them have a built-in backdoor giving China command authority. This is especially true if they are connected to the internet.
Keep backups of all medical records on CD and regularly update the backup. Also keep items to read the old CD. Do not find yourself with data on obsolete media with nothing to read them on. NASA cannot read data from early satellites to compare with current data. Don’t loose data that way.
Germany must go nuclear since America is folding its nuclear umbrella. One hopes that Germans will not decide to conquer the world again. The WOKE ideology is starting to make many Germans take pride in what their grandparents did to the “evil” Jews. Of course, they now have much nobler reasons for their antisemitism. All the Moslem unwonted immigrants to Germany should ask the Jews advice about becoming a minority group in that country. The crematoria can easily be put back into service.
