Blazio has been destroying NYC, and this last thing is pure Sociopath in action. By the way, a great many experts have said this exact thing about covid response over the last year, but have been censored – like Weinstein himself has – but now the wave is getting too strong to be fully stopped.
My favorite line is “a way for aspiring tyrants to mask their desire for control and power in the gauze of the sanitary state apparatus” –perfect!

As a former New Yorker. I can arrest to the accuracy of this article. DiBlasio is an imbecile with serious issues of inadequacy, and sadly typical of the men being voted into office in “progressive” states and cities. He shows nothing but contempt for his constituents, is wholly controlled by his monstrous wife and is as inept in politics as he is in his family life. A real molehill of a man.

I bet this one fails. Just heard yesterday that the mandate he put on city employees back in October has been shut down by the NY Supreme Court. As I understand it, this was not just an injunction, like what Biden’s ban has received, but they indicated it was outside of his authority and so it is dead. If the courts ruled he can’t make such a mandate for city employees, I don’t see how one for private employees can ever hope to succeed.
Although it is a shame he is even allowed to try. A lot of states have been reining in the power of mayors, county councils, and even governors to make emergency declarations and the restrictions that go with them. I don’t think we’ll see that from NY, unfortunately. If anything their current governor will probably be trying to expand those powers.
