Yes, pretty much. I have no particular interest in Epstein or Weinstein and their associates. Hollywood has always worked that way and a lot of very prominent female luvvies kept quiet for a long time. Meanwhile, all the teenaged girls seemed perfectly happy to be seen with Prince Andrew or whoever. Again, a lot of people knew about it for a long time, including many in the media.
Most of the rest is fatuous garbage. So once past that journalistic mistake..the rest is dross.

Why illustrate this piece with a pic of Epstein with Donald Trump? Surely more appropriate to show him with Bill Clinton, given that Clinton flew at least 26 times on Epstein’s “Lolita Express” en route to the child-rapist’s island.

Because the self-promoting journalist has to not know a lot of things in order to promote the script : Epstein, Trump, Prince Andrew.
That is not President Trump in the photograph, merely a socially gregarious New York property developer at a large social gathering, long time ago , who was not an intimate of the Lolita Express, unlike Clinton, Bill. No picture of Bill and Jeffrey, eh?

I’m not interested in Epstein in the slightest and, judging by the lack of comments, nor are many others on this site. But I am surprised that Unherd / Louise Perry have also taken a lack of interest in the below the line comments. Surely it is not too much to ask for the date of Epstein’s death to be corrected and also a change of photo at the top of the page? Both could have been done with a suitable edit note.

This “imaginative pop construct” theory appears pretty gauzy stuff to cover up the plethora of circumstantial detail all pointing to a massive exposee of la dolce vita lifestyle of our rich & powerful. You had as well posit a theory to explain away pedophilia in the Church.
