No comments? I’ll go first. I believe
Giesecke will be proven right. Ferguson’s death rate is way too high because due to the fact that we all reacted to slowly, and failed to protect the most at-risk. He assumes this death rate will remain constant. But it will not. The low-risk population will drop their guard and get exposure, but very few will die. The at-risk population will, as much as possible, continue to be cautious and, as prevalence grows, face lower risk over time.
