I’m American and have no skin in this game, but I’m certainly interested to eventually learn whether Starmer will turn out to be a bland centrist, of if he’ll rip off his boring Starmer mask to reveal a rabid lefty underneath.
The West is going through massive change. It will require more than one election cycle to finally set the new direction of travel for the Western democracies.
