This week, Charlotte Pickles is joined by journalist and feminist activist Julie Bindel, and UnHerd’s Peter Franklin, to discuss their underreported stories as well as their heroes and villains.
Julie highlighted the lack of mainstream media interest in the sexual assault conviction of professional footballer Izzy Akinade, and named “Karl”, former police officer turned pimp, as her villain. Peter chose China’s all-seeing facial recognition technology as his underreported story, and named Edward Heath his hero of the week… despite disagreeing with the former Prime Minister on most issues.
