Most of the people who identify as conservative have already switched to Reform so not surprised the majority of those left are actually liberals.
This is why I (and millions of others) will never vote Conservative again.

Like many people, I vaguely supported the Greens for many years. They were decent, concerned environmentalists, were they not? Over the past decade they seem to have mutated into a radical progressive party. I suspect Reform voters, if they troubled to look further into the Greens, would not be too pleased with what they find.

Awkward finding that first story for the Faragista Right. Yet get out of the echo chamber and it’s clear – overall folks support the Net Zero direction.
Depends on how you poll them. Ask “do you support lowering emissions?” and support is sky high. Ask “do you want to spend tens of thousands to upgrade your home so that a heat pump will work effectively, and install a heat pump”, or about any other of the specific measures which would have to be taken to actually implement Net Zero, and support drops precipitously.
I think people rightly want to avoid preventable evils, but net zero is somehow sold as a comfortable way of fixing things in the short term, when it’s really meant to dodge various catastrophic scenarios in 50-100 years. What people aren’t made aware of is that climate change is happening and that we should be looking now at ways to mitigate their effects on our country. It should be seen as a part of national defence. Borders should be hardened because we cannot absorb millions of climate refugees. Policies for food and energy security should be developed.

I find that very hard to believe
