SubscribeJeremy Hunt is only Chancellor of the Exchequer because Liz Truss put him there. Donald Trump has his faults, but at least he didn’t appoint people to undermine his stated political objectives in a futile attempt to save his own skin.
These new unattributable tabloid-esque missives from ‘UnHerd staff’ can be a bit tiresome and suggestive they think their subscribers largely dim-witted, but in this instance it does seem a bit of ‘tongue in cheek’ was at work. Has someone gone secretly rogue on the News desk?.
Merely keeping the Mad Liz story going shows a sense of humour as the more folks reminded of her the more the Right basks in the reflected glory…or not.
The homophobic Climate change meme almost certainly a spoof to see who’d pick it up.
And helping keep the Alabama ‘nuttiness’ to the fore also shows a streak of liberalism under the camouflage.

Liz can’t be Trump if she remains a thoughtless neocon. She does make the point that she was around in Westminster when Trump armed the Ukrainians with Javelins. But her boss Boris did the will of the Democrat neocons to doom that poor country, the Ukrainians having defeated the Russian column from Belarus and set to agree a peace settlement which might have given up Crimea but preserved a certain autonomy for the Donbas republics.
No, Biden and his State Department couldn’t have that, if they wanted a war without end to help US gas exports and arms, security or reconstruction corporations. I’m pretty sure Cheney’s still been in the mix there and not just daughter mix.
