→ Candace Owens pulled from YouTube over Kanye West claims
Candace Owens has been suspended from YouTube for a week for sharing a 2022 conversation with Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West.
There will be no show today, or at all this week. That’s because @YouTube has issued me a strike and a one week suspension for my sit down with Kanye. They also removed the interview as “hate speech”, as it was mass reported by Zionists.

The interview was pulled from YouTube for featuring claims that Jews control the media, a violation of the platform’s ban on conspiratorial claims targeting protected groups — though it’s still available on Spotify.
Owens claims the video was “mass reported by Zionists”, writing that “their tactics never change.” Much like Owens’s falling out with the Daily Wire last year, which won allies for her on the Left, this ban could serve to further amplify her profile. We haven’t seen the last of her.
→ Jordan Bardella ‘faked documents’ to escape fraud charges
It has been an eventful summer in French politics — and the drama is going nowhere. National Rally (RN) President Jordan Bardella has been accused of creating false documents to escape embezzlement charges from a brief job he had as a parliamentary assistant to a former MEP.
In 2015, when the RN was in its previous iteration as the National Front (FN) Bardella worked as a parliamentary assistant to former MEP Jean-François Jalkh. During this time, however, it is alleged by the French daily newspaper Libération that he was working for the party — not Jalkh — while receiving a wage from the European Parliament. The RN told Euractiv: “Jordan Bardella formally denies the false accusations contained in the Libération article.”
On 30 September, there will be a trial involving 27 party leaders, including Jean-Marie and Marine Le Pen, on charges of embezzlement. If found guilty, they could face fines of up to €1 million and 10 years in prison. Never a dull moment in French politics…
→ Melania Trump plays detective on husband’s shooting
The attempted assassination of Donald Trump has raised serious questions about law enforcement’s handling of the incident, given that Secret Service flagged the shooter but failed to detain him. Fortunately, the ex-president’s wife Melania is on the case.

“Why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech?” the former First Lady asked in a new promotion for her upcoming memoir, as ominous music played in the background. “There is definitely more to this story. And we need to uncover the truth.”
The usually private Mrs Trump has stepped up her social media use in the lead-up to November, also sharing an open letter following the July shooting as well as an ode to New York, a “colorful canvas where dreams come alive”. Will she crack the case?

SubscribeMrs Trump asks just one question – it’s a good one. Will she receive an answer she can believe and trust? that’s a different question. I hope so, and the rest of us too.
Quite a snide little crack at Mrs Trump. Unherd is beginning to stink a little.
I thought so too. A wife is perfectly entitled to ask why someone who tried to kill her husband wasn’t apprehended in advance given law enforcement were apparently aware of the threat.
While Mrs Trump has moved on from the early days and cries of SUYT, I doubt that any serious commentators take her conspiracy theories on the Donald’s slack security detail seriously.
Yeah, the behavior of the secret service leadership was transparent, competent and honest. Not.
The reaction of self-declared enlightened intellectuals like the author of this column demonstrate they are neither very enlightened nor very intellectual. Melania has been one of the lowest profile 1st Ladies in many years and has been vilified at a dismissive depersoning level not seen before by allegedly mainstream types.
She wasn’t low profile, she was invisible. She had no cause like literacy, drugs or helping military families. Historians have ranked dead last as a First Lady.
I’ve appreciated UnHerd’s balance between the Right and the wrong, the common-sense and the nutters. But there’s a shift going on, and it’s beginning to feel a little NYT-zy.
Why are very reasonable questions by Melanie Trump being sneered at? I don’t get it. Is she supposed to just be quiet? Why?
