A “5” on Matt Gaetz likely success?! Now that he’s quit, now that he’s out of Johnson’s way, now that he’s out of Trump’s risk balloon, now that his ‘sleaze’ is barely remembered history .. it’s easy fof me to say that, Emily, you trusted your instincts too little. He’s out of the running now. Thank God.
Should’ve revived Battya! She would’ve yet again been ballistic over Trump’s irresponsible association with Gaetz’s kind.

RFK jnr, if he gets approved, should immediately put a limit on use of Botox given the dreadful outcome it’s left Gaetz sporting. It would be least the Trump admin could do having now ruined the sexual deviant. Trump only wants one of those in his Govt…oh hang on a minute there’s more?
It’s a Clown show isn’t it and was always going to be. Ripped through with contradictions and clashes to come between these appointments, if they get approved. Now perhaps Trump welcomes this. He’ll watch the spats and see who emerges? I doubt he’s had that strategy. Whilst undoubtedly he has some successful political instincts he is not ever going to be an effective CEO. If his base supporters think he’s going to be capable of moving from rage and revenge to effective Govt changing the things they really want, they are going to be v disappointed. Albeit so much Sunk Cost quite quickly they’ll all look to mask their incompetence with conspiracy twaddle.
As regards Vance, he was always going to be side-lined. Too much a threat and will be thinking 28. Trump will hate that. As regards Elon, he’s supporting the Democrats by 28. His brilliance in some areas does not transfer to all and he’s the classic case of hubris overreach. The role he’s been given is comical and straight out of an episode of Yes Minister.

I admit there are many huge egos in Trump‘s nominations (I think to call it a “clown show” is simplistic and unfair), and there are bound to be clashes, but if only a fraction of what Trump wants will be achieved by rattling this enormous battleship of left wing thinking, smashing some of the bureaucracy and inefficiency, it’ll be worthwhile in my opinion. Why not take a chance? People will get fired, and egos will get hurt, no doubt about it. But I am really looking forward to battling the woke agendas and especially the fatal green Religion. The Trumpian waves will hopefully also hit the European shores, also trigger some political rethinking and will start changes here in Europe. Here’s hoping ….

‘…fatal Green religion’, err you do know Elon makes electric cars don’t you? And RFK Jnr the opposite of a climate change sceptic?
There’s a long list of contradictions to unravel.

Yes, it is “fatal” to humanity to starve the World of energy. Most IPCC‘s statements are “pseudo-science”, according to a recent speech by Dr.Clauser (Nobel Prize for Physics 2022) to young physicists in S Korea. Plenty of other prominent scientists are very sceptical of Man Made Climate Change.
Kennedy recently rowed back on lots of his statements and EVs have their place, because of future AI developments and self driving cars. Elon‘s rockets also need plenty of fossil fuel and AI requires huge energy, which can’t be provided by renewables.
