How is it ‘traitorous’ to express an opinion about Russia and the road to the Ukraine war? The UK isn’t at war with Russia.
Missiles fired into Russia. Nuclear submarines in Cuba. If this were the 1960s the Tory Oxsteders would be dead already.
Yet they express no alarm at this. But when one man expresses an opinion about Russia it’s a national emergency.
These elderly Tories clearly haven’t got over the Second World War. The country and people of 1944 would be vastly different from today in almost every way. They might have danced the jitterbug, but it’s unlikely they would have had a taste for a porn star cocktail.
Perhaps they need the scourge of a Starmer Labour government.

I’m sure those Tory MPs do understand what the Tory heartlands want.
But those MPs also know that those who bankroll the party don’t want what the heartland does.
Those paymasters need exploitable labour, low cost labour, to deliver meals, packages and so on, the kinds of jobs most home-grown Brits won’t do.
And if that labour can’t come from Romania or somewhere else in the EU, they’re happy with it coming from India, Africa or wherever.
