Since October 7th, old divides between Right and Left on support for Israel were predictably resurfaced. Less expected, however, was a new civil war on the online Right. Compact founder and key figure in the so-called ‘New Right’ Sohrab Ahmari joined UnHerd’s Freddie Sayers to discuss it.

Well done, Unherd.
I guess, the cartoon (brown men surrounding a white British girl), Sohrab didn’t comprehend, was about the Pakistani rape gangs in England.
The interview was overall interesting, and I am looking forward listening or are reading more from Sohrab. The Right certainly has split recently, and some members, like Candice Owens, seem to have gone totally off the rails with Nick Fuentes and George Galloway becoming her fiercest fans.
Who exactly are these influential, upper-class “Nietzschean” intellectual Trump supporters that Sohrab Ahmari is referring to? I don’t see them. Please name a few. With an emphasis on the word “influential.” Are we talking about some minuscule intellectual fringe, like that Bronze Age Pervert guy? In which case, why even mention them? Or is Sohrab trying to ingratiate himself with his more moderate, left-liberal Trump-averse dinner companions? I can certainly understand the temptation. But he should resist it (except in private).
Very enlightening.
