Many prime age men have found ways to get by simply not working at all and surviving on disability payments and subsidized healthcare, and perhaps from help from their families. I understand many in this group spend their time on screens (watching videos, playing games, chatting with others). If they are unwilling to work and work needs to get done, employers seek out willing workers, often migrants or illegal aliens.
If we cut down or put more restrictions on government assistance, some men may be forced out of their lounge chairs and back to work.
