Very interesting, though it was hard to listen to the descriptions of animal abuse in laboratories. I was shocked that 300 beagles a week are harmed in US-funded Chinese labs. Whitecollar Waste seem to be having more success emphasising the waste of taxpayer cash rather than the animal welfare angle, which seems a very wise strategy. I do wonder how much help Elon Musk will be, though, in his DOGE role, as he himself seems to support animal research through some of his companies. I read one was involved in implanting microchips into animals’ brains. Let’s hope he’s not on the gravy train described in the video.
