Partnerships Manager

We are seeking a commercially minded individual with experience in the media industry to to help UnHerd monetise and become self-sustaining. Focusing at first on sponsorship partners for emails, events and products, but expanding out into other opportunities.

The successful candidate should be someone with a strong track record in developing new commercial media products, a keen eye for identifying and monetising under-valued media assets and considerable experience in developing strategic relationships with commercial partners and advertisers. A sound understanding of emerging digital technologies and platforms, including social media, video and podcasting is essential.


  • Track record of identifying market opportunities, delivering commercial solutions and developing strategic partnerships and joint ventures in the media
  • Proven experience in successfully developing relationships with advertisers and selling directly to clients
  • Able to confidently and independently deliver client sales pitches, both online and in person
  • Developing pricing/rate cards to optimise revenues (fill rates, CPMs, etc)
  • Digital Ad Operations experience managing operational processes for a publisher, advertiser or agency and having both sell and buy-side experience would be desirable
  • An expert at interpreting and presenting data to feed back to clients
  • Must be a self starter that works well in a result-orientated role
  • Excellent presentation, organisation and communication skills (English language verbal and writing), together with strong negotiation skills
  • Some experience of managing in-person and online ticketed events would be desirable
  • Willing to be flexible and get stuck in the day to day operations

Remuneration: Competitive base salary with uncapped commission.
